In the 1950's through 1961, the management team of Jordan Reich & Floyd Sullivan, worked as vice president & sales manager for a growing New England LTL carrier. Being nonfamily members, in a large family run business, left little room for the team to grow. So, on St Patricks Day 1961 the team moved forward & United was open for business.
Today, into our 55th year and with the 2nd generation, United continues to specialize in the same customer service that built it to where it is today. No matter how we’ve grown, personalized and respectful service is still most important to us. We recognize your voice on the phone. We remember the details that we are committed to follow.
